Best Lower Ab Exercises For Men at Home

Have you been looking for the best ab exercises for men at home? The Bicycle exercise is an effective exercise that focuses mainly on developing your six pack and waist muscles or obliques.

1. Lie on your back and put hands behind your head.
2. Draw your knees closer to your chest then raise your shoulder blades off the floor while avoiding jerking movements on the neck.
3. Straighten the left leg out and at the same time move your torso towards the right, pulling your right knee closer to your left elbow.
4. Alternate your legs and elbows keeping the bicycle pedal motion more than 10 repetitions.

The exercise ball crunch.  Exercise ball are great and useful for abdominal exercises for men and women to tone and firm up.

1. Put the ball against the wall and rest on it on your lower back.
2. Put your hands behind your head.
3. Tighten your abs to raise your upper body from the ball, gently pulling your lower ribcage down to your pelvis. Repeat for 12 times.

Reverse Crunch.  Perhaps it will may appear that the reverse crunch is perfect for the lower abs only, however, keep in mind, you won’t be able split upper from lower distincly.

1. Lying on a mat, put your palms on the ground.
2. Pull your knees in in the direction of your upper body right up until they’re bent perpendicular.
3. Keep your abs tight to curl your pelvis off the ground, pushing your legs up to the roof.
4. Go back to starting position and repeat for 12- 16 reps.
5. It’s a really one of the ab exercises for men that makes us of very small movements, so attempt to use your ab muscles to raise your pelvis as opposed to swinging your lower body and building momentum.

  5. I love the “reverse crunch” as well as lying leg lifts. Got back into these recently and they have made a big difference…so great recommendation! I just make sure and stretch out the lower back a bit to get the natural curve of the spine back after doing these.
