Lower ab exercises for women at home are increasing in popularity. This is exactly because more and more women at starting to get serious about getting firm and flat abs.  You will agree with me if I say that all women would love to look good and women with beautiful and well toned abdominal muscles are undeniably the sexiest.  However, there are several gals who lack the time to go to the gym with all those fancy equipments to workout.

As a result, they try to find a way to use some of their free time at home to workout by doing a number of simple yet good ab workouts. With that in mind, listed here are the two best lower ab exercises for women.

Bicycle Crunch:

This ab exercise is regarded to be doubly effective than the standard crunche. It works lower and upper abs at the same time and makes your abs tighter. To execute the bicycle crunch, you won’t need any kind of high end equipment. Lie on your back.  While maintaining your legs straight put your palms behind your neck then lift your head and shoulders off the ground. Bend your left leg completely towards your chest, then move it closer to your right elbow. You have to then extend your leg until it is perpendicular to the floor. Do it with the other leg.  Perform this routine in 10 repetitions for each leg.

Ab Crunches:

Begin by lying on the floor.  Bend your knees and put your palms behind your head. But making sure your lower back is straight.  Aim to raise your upper body to the ceiling. It will trigger your ab muscles to contract.  Maintain this posture for a second prior to coming back to the starting position. Repeat this process for at least 10 times per set and perform at least two circuits.
